Hi, I’m Tundra! I’m a 10-year-old Husky mix and a proud Sanctuary senior at Young at Heart. I arrived in February 2025 after being rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Louisiana. When I came to Young at Heart, I was heartworm positive, but I successfully completed treatment and now enjoy a much more comfortable life. I also manage arthritis, hip dysplasia, and high blood pressure – all common medical needs for senior dogs, and all of which Young at Heart carefully treats with medication and supportive therapies.

As a Sanctuary dog, I will live at Young at Heart for the rest of my life, receiving lifelong care, comfort, and love. My days are filled with outdoor time, enrichment activities, belly rubs, and quality time with my best friend, Nova. Thanks to our Sanctuary Sponsors, senior dogs like me receive the medical care, stability, and compassion we need to thrive in our golden years. Their support makes my happy, safe, and dignified life possible!
