Hi, I’m Susie! I’m a 10-year-old deaf girl who was rescued by Young at Heart in July 2024. Shortly after arriving, the vets discovered a large splenic mass that needed to be removed right away to save my life , and thanks to their quick action, the surgery was a success!

Now I’m living my best life in an amazing Sanctuary Home through Young at Heart’s Sanctuary Program. I may not be able to hear, but I sure can feel the love all around me. I get all the medical care I’ll ever need, and most importantly, I’m surrounded by people who are patient, kind, and completely devoted to making sure my golden years are filled with comfort and joy.
