I’m Lilah, a sweet and shy little lady who was rescued in early 2024. I came in with my kitty sister, Bella, but unfortunately she was very sick, and I had to say goodbye to her shortly after we were saved. It was really hard, especially because I looked to her for comfort and safety in uncertain situations. But the Young at Heart family made it a point to show me extra love and get me through my grief.

I have since been diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease, which is why I’m part of Young at Heart’s Sanctuary Program. This program allows me to receive all the love and care of a forever foster family, while Young at Heart provides me with the veterinary support I need to stay comfortable. Thanks to the incredible support of kind-hearted pet lovers like you, I can enjoy my golden years feeling loved and cared for. Thank you for helping me live my best life, full of chin scratches and purrs!
