Jude

My name is Jude, and I was rescued by Young at Heart in July 2022. I am a happy-go-lucky boy who loves life! Soon after getting my second chance, I was diagnosed with Blastomycosis, a fungal infection that affected my skin. I was itchy and red, especially around my paws and face. They treated me carefully, and I started to feel more comfortable. But Dr. Cassandra soon realized that my skin conditions were chronic and required life-long care with medications and a special diet. This qualified me for the Sanctuary Program.

Later in 2022, I was welcomed into my permanent Sanctuary Home. I live with my best friend, Coco Jellybean, another YAH alum. She’s the best! When I was rushed to the ER in early 2023 and diagnosed with a pretty serious heart condition, she was right there by my side when I went home. She looks after me, and I do the same for her.

I will need special care and frequent vet visits for the rest of my life. Thanks to your support and Young at Heart, I am guaranteed to get it. I am so very grateful that I landed here on that fateful day in July a few years back.
