These two little muppets arrived at Young at Heart, and we cannot wait to give them the care and love they deserve!
Cody is a 14-year-old poodle mix brought to a shelter partner to be euthanized for having accidents in the house. Thankfully, the shelter talked them into just surrendering him. He’s so incredibly sweet and has been started on antibiotics for a urinary tract infection. He may have something more than that going on, but we’ll get to the bottom of it. He also has atrocious teeth that we’ll get all taken care of for him. He’s a happy boy.
Paisley is a 7-year-old Pekingese mix who was a stray at the shelter that no one ever came looking for. It’s obvious she’s had several litters of pups, and her lower half is so matted that you can barely see her legs. She also has several large mammary tumors that we’ll have removed and biopsied. She’s as happy as can be, despite being neglected for some time. She’s adorable and her tail never stops wagging.
We don’t know much about these two pups as they’re new arrivals, so we won’t be accepting inquiries or applications on them yet. We’re looking forward to getting to know them better, and getting them all the care they need to be able to enjoy their golden years in comfort.
Welcome to Young at Heart, Cody, and Paisley! We’re so glad you’re safe and sound with us!
