Comments: Zeus is calm-mannered; he very rarely barks. Zeus will howl when he’s excited but only briefly. Zeus enjoys being outside, but he will run. He needs to be leashed when he is going potty and when he is going for walks. Zeus loves playing in water, we fill up a plastic kiddie pool for him, and he enjoy walking in it, and also drinking out of it. Zeus also enjoys his alone time to rest. He will complain (talk) if he doesn’t want to be handled. Zeus has never shown any signs of aggression, growled or bit anyone ever. He is a big baby. He does not enjoy his paws being touched and will pull them away. Zeus doesn’t enjoy fireworks or thunderstorms. He will seek out comfort from you until the noises subside. Bellly rubs and holding him help him get through it the best. Zeus loves being pet and getting belly rubs. His favorite treat is fruity candy. He loves the smell and taste of fruity candy. We give him a couple starburst or a skittle every now and then, but rarely because it’s not the healthiest snack for him. Zeus loves greeting his owners when they come home by giving them a quick and happy howl, his tail will be wagging showing his happiness. Rest assured Zeus can be left alone in the house, and outside a crate, but he is very respectful. He is not destructive in any way. When we are away he is usually resting on the couch or laying on the floor. Overall, Zeus is a great dog and very calm-mannered. He will make an excellent companion.
