Tobi

Tobi is a 13-year-old Yorkipoo who has been a devoted companion to my mother for many years. Unfortunately, my mother is no longer able to live independently and will be moving to Colorado to live with me. Because my wife is severely allergic to dogs, Tobi cannot come with her, and we are hoping to find him a loving home where he can enjoy his senior years.

Tobi weighs about 16 pounds and is regularly cared for by Huntley Veterinary Clinic. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

He is fully house-trained and does a great job of letting you know when he needs to go outside. Tobi also walks nicely on a leash, although he has never been trained to walk off-leash.

Tobi is very devoted to my mother and can be protective of her. He has not been well socialized with other dogs, so we believe he would be happiest as the only dog in his new home. He has never lived with cats, and we feel a cat-free home would be best as well.

He is a smart little guy who responds very well to positive, reward-based training.

This is a difficult transition for our family, and our greatest hope is to find Tobi a kind, patient person who will give him a safe and loving home for this next chapter of his life. At 13, he deserves a comfortable place to land and someone to call his own.
