15 years young + SPRY (seriously, we had to double check his vet records because we assumed he was younger)
• extremely affectionate + chatty
• has heterochromia (his eyes are different colors!)
• no major health issues or medications
• eats a special food that’s ~$10/mo more than generic to avoid diabetes
• needs to be an only child (no other animals in the house)

“My grandmother adopted Nobi from another woman in her retirement home in Seattle back in ~2015. Over the next nine years, he followed her to Missouri and served as an excellent companion and nurse throughout the end of her life. He slept on her pillow every night.
He came back to Chicago with me (the granddaughter) in August 2024 and has been fostered by some friends of mine ever since. Now, his foster family is moving, and he needs a forever home!
He’s the most gentle and affectionate kitty to humans. We once tried to introduce another cat to the house, and he got scared and aggressive, so he needs to be the only animal in the house
He’s extremely low maintenance. He just needs to have his food + water topped up every 1-2 days, and his litter box cleaned 1-2 times per day. He comes with vet records, a carrier, a litter box/scoop, and extra food.
My family loves him, but all of us have other pets or allergies. we could provide financial assistance in an emergency, and if you’re within an hour of Chicago, I’ll pet sit for you for free!”
