Kiki

Breed: Chow Chow
Age: 7

Kiki has a heart as big as her fluffy coat. She’s healthy (age 7), up to date on all her vaccines (Medical record provided), and ready to bring love and companionship to her new forever home. While she can take a little time to warm up to new people, once you have earned her trust, you will have a loyal and affectionate friend for life. The best way to win her love is through daily walks. Go slow with her and let her come to you when giving affection or treats. Kiki would thrive best in a calm home where she can be your one and only. However, she gets along with other non-dominate dogs, and cats. She takes a few weeks to warm up to another dog, then she is their best friend. She has some resource guarding, so please, no high-value treats around other dogs. Regular food and treats are fine. Kiki is not a dog park dogshe gets anxious and will whine to leave. Due to her anxiety, she should not live in a home with young children. She is not aggressive and has been around children under 5. However, she will bark due to her anxiety and discomfort around children. Kiki is currently on Prozac to reduce her anxiety and make the transition as seamless as possible.
