Comments:  Diamond is a very quiet dog, she tends to keep to herself but enjoys human interaction. She is very patient and calm around children, she enjoys their love and company. Diamond enjoys being outside but not if it’s too hot or too cold. She will want to come right back inside to the controlled temperature in the house. She loves belly rubs and laying at the end of the bed. Diamond is very loving and protective towards Zeus. She loves him dearly and wants to be around him all the time. He is like a big brother to her. Anything Zeus is doing she will follow. Diamonds favorite fruit is bananas. I occasionally give her some banana to enjoy.

Diamond is a very calm mannered around people but tends to resource guard food, toys, bones and cat toys. Dogs are fed once a day and then the food dish get put away, out of her sight. She shares food with Zeus just fine but doesn’t allow the cats in the house around the dog food dish. She will chase the cats away if they go near the dog food dish. She does chase the cats away from the dog food dish but she doesn’t exhibit signs of aggression towards the cats, (Diamond doesn’t growl, show teeth, snarl, bark etc.). She will however, share the dogs water with the cats. Gently, Diamond will steal the cats toys away from them. When the cats are playing with their toys she suddenly has interest in them. We encourage her to be nice and not selfish by saying “Diamond nice”. She knows what this means and it corrects the behavior. Diamond is very attached to Zeus because they are a bonded pair, and they have been together since puppies. We feel it’s in the best interest of Zeus and Diamond if they stay together. This will ensure their continued stability and happiness.
